When? Where? What? Why?

In early 2009, just as the world was about to turn a few extra revolutions in both their lives, a chance meeting between the two founders of K&Q who have been watching and practicing marketing in South Africa for cumulatively well over 30 years set in motion a discussion and passion for creating an organisation that is completely focussed on finding more useful, more actionable and more impactful ways of structuring, sharing and building marketing skills and knowledge amongst the community of practicing marketers in SA.
 
Ours is a complex, evolving environment in which marketing as a career and skill set is still largely under-valued and under-utilised
 
We believe there is a real need for a consolidated approach to support practicing marketers in our marketing community which draws on the theory where it’s useful , but also provides practical input that will provide professional marketers with the day to day skills, knowledge and insight that they need to improve their delivery through, building their brand-lead businesses and raising the profile of marketing as a key business driver in South Africa.
